Club update - Covid 19 precautions

16 January 2022

As we approach a third year with the spectre of Covid-19 hanging over football and society in general, we would like to assure all of our customers that Sutton United complies with all current guidance and strives to take appropriate measures to combat the spread of Covid-19.

We currently fall below the threshold levels that Government has applied to sports stadia and indoor venues in terms of covid passes or proof of negative tests.

Our players and football management take daily tests. Our premises are cleaned regularly and this includes an anti-viral "fogging" procedure. Our staff, including volunteers, are instructed to wear face coverings when indoors and on match days stewards who undertake bag-searches or "pat-downs" will use hand sanitiser between each search.

We ask spectators and other visitors not to attend our stadium if they are Covid-positive, are experiencing symptoms or are a close-contact of someone who has Covid-19. Within our stadium and bars we provide sanitiser at intervals that we would ask people to use regularly. Face coverings are not mandatory for spectators but please wear them when queuing or moving around the stadium. Our bars are equipped with sneeze screens.
