Manager Matt Gray has made his first signing of the summer, securing the services of attacking left back Sam Hart after he was released from his contract at Oldham Athletic, where he made over 30 appearances last season.
25-year-old Sam began his career as a youngster with Liverpool before joining Blackburn Rovers, and subsequently spent a season with Southend after a successful loan spell. During his career he has also had loan spells at Port Vale, Rochdale and Shrewsbury and he has made over 100 Football League appearances in all.
Matt said: ''I'm delighted to bring Sam to the club. He's a good defender who likes to get forward, and he'll support our wingers and get crosses in to the box. I'm looking forward to him providing competition for Rob Milsom at left back and welcome him to the squad.''
