Sutton's six match unbeaten run in the London & South East Regional Women's League was ended this afternoon as U's lost 2-0 at home to Worthing.

The Sussex side scored direct from a corner just before the half hour mark, and doubled the lead when a long throw was turned in to the net twelve minutes in to the second half. U's were unable to recover the deficit as Worthing earned a victory which kept them three points behind league leaders Ebbsfleet, who won at Dulwich in the afternoon's only other game.
