We are delighted to announce that The Children's Trust will be Sutton United FC's official Charity of the Season for 2023/24. As part of the agreement, Sutton's players warmed up for the recent pre-season friendly against Aldershot Town wearing The Children's Trust t-shirts(above)
The Children's Trust is the UK's leading charity for children with brain injury, running a range of specialist care, education and therapy services for children and young people from across the UK, including the UK's largest rehabilitation centre for children with acquired brain injury (ABI). It is based at Tadworth Court, Tadworth, Surrey within the M25 motorway.
Tracy Poulton, the Partnerships Manager at The Children's Trust, said: ''Every year, 40,000 children in the UK are left with a brain injury as a result of an accident or illness, with many families not able to access the support they desperately need. Our goal, at The Children's Trust, is to reach and support more children with brain injury to give them the best life possible. Support from Sutton United will help us raise awareness and vital funds to support more children with brain injury.''
