Congratulations to Aaron Lucas from our disability team who was part of the England cerebral palsy squad that finished runners-up in this month's IFCPF European Championships in Sardinia.
Aaron featured in the 11-0 group win against Italy which, together with a 3-1 win over Spain and a 2-0 success against The Netherlands saw England top their group, before Ireland were beaten 3-1 to put the team in to the final of a major competition for the first time. Unfortunately a powerful Ukraine side proved too strong in Saturday's final, winning 3-0, but England can be proud of their best-ever performance in the competition and we're delighted that one of our Sutton United team was part of that success.
