Sunday sees two teams of Sutton United fans go head-to-head on the pitch at Gander Green Lane in the inaugural Sutton United Fans' Game, and the names of the two managers can now be revealed.
Our first manager has to his name 271 appearances for the club and 36 goals, and was a member of our Isthmian League Championship side in 1999. Taking the helm is former Sutton United player, and now Academy Manager, Jimmy Dack.
Known to some as “the special one” our second manager is no stranger to leading a Sutton United Fans' team to glory on the pitch at Gander Green Lane and returns to attempt to defend his title and walk away with the hardware on offer on Sunday. Supporter Nick the Greek's team will be taking on Jimmy’s side.
A coin toss will decide which side gets home/away dressing rooms.
It is set to be a great afternoon, kick off is at 3.00pm, with the bar open and food available from 2.00pm.
There will also be a raffle with some great Sutton United prizes on offer.
Entry is free, so do come on down and enjoy the sunshine and watch your fellow supporters battle it out to try to be the first team to lift the Sutton United FC Fans' Game “The Shoebox Memorial Trophy”.
