Our next House of Stand Up Comedy Night is on Thursday 29 June, with the headline act a familiar face on television screens over many years.
Comedian, broadcaster and playwright Arthur Smith has been a regular on programmes such as Have I Got News For You, QI and Never Mind the Buzzcocks and the Radio Four programme Loose Ends, and is one of the much admired originals of the great British alternative comedy scene.
Joining Arthur will be London-based Australian comedian Peter Jones, who has performed all over the world including sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe; Irish comedian, writer and actress Eleanor Tiernan, and Ajay Rose, nominated in the BBC New Comedy Awards last year.
The MC will be fringe and festival favourite Caroline Mabey, who has been on the circuit since 2005.
The show starts at 8pm with doors and the bar open from 7pm. Advance tickets are £15, with discounts for group bookings of four or six, and can be bought here. On the door admission is £20.
