The Club had its annual inspection over the last few days covering matchday operation and included a detailed assessment of the general stadium as well as our non-matchday provisions.
We are very pleased to report that we have been evaluated as low risk by the Sports Grounds Safety Authority. This is part of our continued work to improving safety for our fans. This is an achievement of which we are very proud when one considers the enormous amount of work which has had to be undertaken in this area since our promotion in May 2021.
This feat is in no small measure due to the hard work undertaken by our Ground Safety team, led by Mike Chenery and Graham Cowell, as well as the efforts of a large number of volunteers, club officers and other third parties such as our stewarding company partners.
We continue to receive very positive feedback about them all from supporters and it is heartening to see our more formalised assessment reflects this also.
