Supporters not travelling to Doncaster on Saturday have the chance to see our academy side in action at the VBS Community Stadium when they entertain Northampton Town in the EFL Youth Alliance, kick off 11am and admission free.
Sutton are third in the table, behind the second placed visitors by a goal difference of one, with both teams three points behind leaders Wimbledon, who play fourth placed Luton at the weekend. U's have won their last three league and cup games, last week's EFL Youth Alliance Cup defeat of Exeter earning a long Southern semi final trip to Plymouth, and an indication of the standards they are setting came in midweek when 16-year-old striker Joden Trickett was named on the substitutes' bench for the EFL Trophy tie against Crawley.
It is U's third game on the VBS pitch this season, with previous games seeing a 4-1 win against Leyton Orient (above) and a last minute defeat against Luton, U's last defeat in league and cup football.
With the kick off at 11am there is ample time for supporters to come along to the VBS and then get home to watch the game at Doncaster on the iFollow system, where it is being live streamed as this weekend is an international weekend.
