Sutton's academy side recorded a fine 2-1 win at Gillingham on Saturday morning.
The sides had identical recordsof two wins and two defeats going in to the game, with Gillingham above U's on goal difference, but a fine performance from Sutton was enough to bring maximum points from Beechings Cross. Joden Trickett, on target a fortnight ago against Stevenage, was again on the scoresheet while the second goal came from James Fennelow, one of a number of under 16s in the team, making it an even more praiseworthy victory.
Next Saturday we are away to Cambridge United - the venue and kick off time will be confirmed later in the week.
