Matt Gray’s first signing as Sutton manager when he joined at the end of May 2019 having finished the previous season as leading scorer for Worthing, scoring sixteen goals in the Isthmian League. An exciting striker or winger whose pace is a threat to any team, he played at Under 23 level for Brighton and Millwall before joining Worthing at the start of the 2018-19 season. Named in the National League Team of the Season last season and made his 100th Sutton appearance earlier this season.
