Winger signed in July after returning from Malta, where he was with Hamrun Spartans last season. He made over 120 appearances in six years with Barnet, featuring in their Nationwide Conference success in 2015, and has also played for Luton and Colchester. Although born in Sutton, he is of Maltese descent and has been capped by Malta on over 30 occasions, most recently in November against the Republic of Ireland.
