Junior Girls' Teams
Sutton United Girls run teams from U10 to U16, and form part of the Sutton United Foundation.
We specifically focus on developing players to be prepared for the rigors and skill sets involved in the Women’s game, and therefore our aim is continuous development rather than winning, although the development model has been successful in delivering league and cup successes across the years.
We offer a real pathway in to the Sutton United Women’s teams, with 12 players graduating from Sutton United Girls age groups to the Sutton United Women in 2022/23 alone.
We have also developed players who have furthered their playing careers by signing for professional academy teams, including Chelsea, Southampton, Brighton, Charlton and Millwall.
All of our coaches are volunteers, with the majority also professionals from the footballing industry, with ranges of qualifications from FA Cat 1 to UEFA B, as well as DBS checked, Emergency First Aid and Safeguarding trained.
We hold annual trials in May for players keen to join a club with a real pathway.
We are holding open trials for our girls section age groups and U18 Development squad for the 24/25 season. These trials are for our Junior Premier League (JPL) and Surrey County Womens and Girls League teams in the relevant age groups, and are held at Collingwood Recreation ground, Sutton, SM1 2EY (entrance on Gander Green Lane or Collingwood Road)
Please note, parking may not be available at the VBS Community Stadium (Sutton United FC) on the day. However, you may find parking on nearby roads.
19th of May - Goalkeeper trials (U9 - U12)
Registration from 9:30am.
Trials will start at 10:00am - 11:30am.
19th of May - Goalkeeper trials (U13 - U18)
Registration from 11:30am.
Trials will start at 12pm - 2pm.
19th of May - outfield players - U18 Development squad.
Registration from 11:30am.
Trials will start at 12pm - 2pm.
1st of June - outfield players - U9, U12, U13 and U14.
Registration from 10am.
Trials will start at 10:30am - 12:30pm.
2nd of June - outfield players - U10, U11, U15 and U16.
Registration from 10am.
Trials will start at 10:30am - 12:30pm.

Please note, those selected from stage 1 (above sessions) will be expected to attend our invitation only closed sessions WC 10th and 17th of June.
