We can confirm that Sutton Academy’s pre-season friendly against Raynes Park Vale has been cancelled.
The young U’s were meant to head to Merton for a warm-up clash against the Isthmian League South Central Division side on Tuesday, 29th July, but this encounter will no longer take place after being cancelled by our hosts.
Glen Nichols’ side turn their attention to this Saturday’s trip to Spartans Middlesex, and will be looking to get off the mark this pre-season after defeats to Leatherhead and Ashford Town (Middlesex) either side of a 2-2 draw with Corinthian Casuals.
This will then be followed by further trips to Kingstonian and Crawley Down, before finishing off the campaign against Wealdstone Under-23’s, as Sutton’s Academy prepare for the 2025/26 campaign in the EFL Youth Alliance and National League Under-19 Alliance.
