Sutton United are recruiting talented and committed players for our Under-16 team to play in the JPL League for the 2026/27 season.
The trials will take place on Friday, 20th February, with registration opening at 10:45am and the session starting at 11am, at Cheam Sports Club (Peaches Close, SM2 7BJ).
Who Can Apply?
The trial is open to eligible students born between 1st September 2010 and 31st August 2011. Players selected from the trial will have the chance to compete in:
- JPL League
- FA Youth Cup
- Isthmian League (midweek fixtures)
This pathway provides clear progression routes within the Sutton United football structure, including opportunities to advance toward the Sutton United First Team.
Education & Football Pathway
Players involved in the programme also benefit from an integrated education pathway, which includes:
- NCFE Level 3 in Sport & Physical Activity
- A-Level Psychology
- A-Level Business Studies
This dual pathway ensures players can continue their academic development while training and competing at a high footballing level.
What to Bring
All trialists must arrive prepared with:
- Football boots
- Shin pads
- A water bottle
How to Register
Places at the trial are limited, and attendance is by invitation only. Interested players must register their interest via the official online form for a chance to be selected.
