Sutton United can confirm that centre-back Harry Ransom will leave the club following the mutual termination of his contract. Harry will now join Worthing, and we wish him the very best for the next chapter of his career.
Harry joined us last summer after a promotion-winning campaign in League Two with Crawley Town, and quickly became a dependable presence in our back line. Across the 2024/25 season, he made 30 league and cup appearances for the U’s, scoring his only goal in the National League Cup win against Tottenham, and giving his all every time he pulled on the amber shirt.
A player with solid Football League and National League pedigree, Harry previously came through the ranks at Eastbourne Borough before being signed by Millwall as a 19-year-old. After time with Millwall’s Under-21 squad and a loan spell at Dover Athletic, he spent three seasons with Crawley Town – including further experience on loan at Dover – before playing a key role in Crawley’s League Two play-off success in 2023/2024.
While his time at Sutton was relatively short, Harry’s professionalism and attitude stood out both on and off the pitch. We thank him for his commitment throughout the season and for representing the club with character and integrity.
Good luck at Worthing, Harry — and thank you for your efforts in amber.
