Sutton United Football Club can confirm the departure of Jon Meeney by mutual consent.
Meeney arrived at the VBS Community Stadium from Horsham as First Team Coach in the summer of 2024, and quickly became a popular member of staff in SM1 with his infectious personality and passion for the sport.
After taking on the role of Interim Head Coach earlier this month, he has helped to stabilise performances and results over the last couple of weeks, securing important draws against Woking and Boston United.
We would like to offer our sincere gratitude to Jon for all his hard work during his time at Gander Green Lane, and he leaves with our best wishes for the future.
