Sutton United Football Club is pleased to confirm the renewal of our partnership with Haythorn Sports & Events for the 2025/26 season, continuing a successful relationship that has already played an important role in supporting the club’s first-team operations.
Since first partnering with the U’s, Haythorn Sports and Events has helped manage hotel arrangements for the club’s away fixtures, ensuring seamless travel logistics and accommodation standards that meet the demands of elite-level football.
Founded by Jody Hayes in 2020, Haythorn Sports & Events has quickly built a strong reputation within professional sport. Backed by Jody’s 16 years of experience in the hospitality and hotel industries, the company has worked with over 20 professional clubs and supported teams across 17 different sports, including at major global events such as the F1 Grand Prix, World Athletics Championships, Ryder Cup, Champions League Semi-Finals, and numerous FA Cup Finals.
Beyond their logistics expertise, Haythorn also provides educational programmes for the hotel industry, helping venues understand the specific needs of sports teams and consistently deliver excellent service.
Jody Hayes, Managing Director and Founder of Haythorn Sports and Events, said:
“We’re proud to be continuing our partnership with Sutton United. The club has been fantastic to work with, and we’ve enjoyed playing a small part in helping the team prepare for matchdays away from home. Our goal has always been to take the stress out of travel, allowing the staff and players to focus fully on performance, and we’re excited to keep supporting that mission this season.”
Matthew Disley, Commercial Director at Sutton United, added:
“We’re delighted to renew our partnership with Haythorn Sports. Jody and his team have been a valuable part of our behind-the-scenes operations, and their professionalism and attention to detail are second to none. As we continue to build a performance-first culture at Sutton United, having trusted partners like Haythorn is absolutely vital.”
