With just under a week to go until we pay tribute to a Sutton legend on Sunday, we wanted to share some match day information ahead of the day:

  • The car park will be closed as we have significantly less space available than on regular match days. Please note that if you have a permit for the car park, it WILL NOT be valid for this game.
    Everyone is strongly encouraged to try and get to the ground via public transport or other means. Being a Sunday, fewer parking restrictions apply so parking in local side streets is more of an option. However, if you do require a parking space, please contact the Head Steward, Dan Liddiard, on 07415 893724 or daniel@athossecurity.co.uk  We cannot guarantee a space will be available but Dan will try and be as accommodating as logistics allow.
  • Please note that Thameslink trains have engineering works planned for Sunday between Streatham and Sutton, closing all lines via Wimbledon, and so West Sutton station will be closed. Thameslink services via Mitcham Junction are running as far as Sutton station, from where you can walk (15-20 minutes) or catch a bus as below.
  • The 413 bus service runs past the ground down Gander Green Lane. The bus leaves Sutton Town Centre from outside the old Post Office in Grove Road. The 80 bus route from Hackbridge to Belmont runs down Collingwood Road. The ground can then be reached by footpath through Collingwood Rec.
  • The MBA lounge will be closed until approximately 2.15pm for pre-match hospitality. However, Rowlen’s Bar and the 1898 Lounge will be open from midday. The bars will be remaining open throughout the afternoon so you can watch the game with a beverage of your choice.
  • Please join us after the match in the MBA lounge as we make our ‘Man of the Match’ presentations alongside other special events, an outstanding memorabilia auction, and a raffle with some historic prizes that money can no longer buy!
