We are delighted to announce that Crystal Palace – and by extension the VBS Community Stadium – were nominated in the Club Matchday Experience category at the inaugural Women’s Professional Game Awards.
The recognition celebrates the club’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the matchday experience for all fans, from vibrant fan activations to family-friendly zones designed to make every home fixture feel inclusive, engaging and memorable.
With Palace playing their home games in SM1 since the start of the 2023/24 campaign, this nomination is a reflection of our stadium, and in particular our fanzone which was opened for both sets of supporters at the start of the season. This included a new tent which was added midway through the season, along with a host of deals on drinks at games throughout the season, exclusive to the fanzone.
The WPLL Board voted on the winner on Sunday, 11th May, and while Manchester City came out on top to win the award, we are proud to be recognised for our stadium’s impact on the matchday experience at Women’s Super League games throughout the season.
