The National CP League has changed from South & North, and now it’s gone back to National.
The division, which was previously regionalised, originally saw Sutton United’s CP Team set to take part in the South Division, with their first set of fixtures against Chelsea Yellows and South West CP on Saturday, 13th September.
The updated fixtures remain on the same date, but will see the U’s clash with Brighton & Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur at Cheam Sports Club.
The new National CP League in full is as follows:
- York City
- West Bromwich Albion
- Burton Albion
- Norwich City
- Sutton United
- Tottenham Hotspur
- Chelsea Foundation
- Chelsea Yellows
- South West CP
- Brighton & Hove Albion
The fixtures themselves will remain regionalised, with a set of games to take place at York Sport Village in York, with games taking place simultaneously to the one in Cheam.
Further games will take place in the coming months across the country at The Nest (Norwich), Chelsea’s Training Ground (Cobham), Loughborough University (Loughborough), University of Wolverhampton (Walsall Campus) and Tottenham Hotspur’s Training Ground (Enfield).
From January, six teams will qualify for a Super League and four for the Shield League, with the winners then qualifying for the CP Cup final, which will be broadcast live on TV.
Sutton United CP are also delighted to announce that England CP International, Aaron Lucas, is re-signing for the U’s in time for the competition, along with Italy CP captain, Andrea Valenti, who is also travelling to England in order to be available.
