Goal A

Brandon Njoku vs York City – 9th August

Brandon Njoku rescued a point at the LNER Community Stadium on his competitive debut.

Having come off the bench earlier in the game, the former Cambridge United man got on the end of an outstanding Lewis Simper ball, via a flick-on from Edon Pruti, before poking him a late leveller on opening day.

Goal B

Eden Clark vs London Sport E Benfica – 9th August

Eden Clark contributed to a superb turnaround at Cobham FC, netting her second and Sutton’s third of the afternoon in a 6-2 win against London Sport E Benfica.

A three-pass move saw Clark latch onto a pinpoint through ball before sliding the ball into the back of the net.

Goal C

Gabrielle Williams vs London Sport E Benfica – 9th August

Gabrielle Williams scored the penultimate goal in Sutton’s impressive 6-2 win over London Sport E Benfica.

After picking up the ball outside the box, she skipped past a challenge before drilling the ball into the far corner to add a fifth goal for the U’s.

Goal D

Brandon Njoku vs Scunthorpe United – 23rd August

Brandon Njoku scored his second of the season with a bullet header against Scunthorpe United.

In a nicely-worked move, a strong run by Harry Phipps and a neat touch by David Ogbonna gave Liam Vincent the chance to whip in a cross from the left that was met by Njoku’s powerful header to put the U’s in front against the Iron.

Goal E

David Ogbonna vs Carlisle United – 30th August

David Ogbonna got the crucial second goal that helped to seal Sutton’s first win of the 2025/26 National League season against Carlisle United.

Having come off the bench moments earlier, Ogbonna wasted little time in making an impact and within four minutes of coming on he took advantage of a slip by the otherwise impressive Terell Thomas, who failed to deal with a long Jack Sims clearance and allowed the forward in behind him to lift the ball over the advancing Gabriel Breeze.
