After winning a foul on the edge of the box, Dubem Eze dusted himself off before curling in a delightful free kick to notch his first goal in amber and chocolate, and extend Sutton’s advantage against Horley Town to 4-0.

Goal C

Brandon Njoku vs Braintree Town – 11th February

With Sutton trailing in a crucial encounter against Braintree Town, the visitors squandered several breakway opportunities and were made to pay when a slick move saw Kai Jennings dummy Lewis Simper’s through ball into the path of Jayden Harris, who wonderfully flicked it back into the middle where Brandon Njoku was waiting to produce a fine finish that brought the U’s level late on.

Goal D

Nadia Sabania vs AFC Wimbledon – 15th February

Having given Sutton a shock lead with a brilliant looping header, Nadia Sabania came back to haunt her former club when, with half time approaching, the former Dons’ midfielder from outside the area, hit the cleanest, purest strike on the half volley, zinging it past the goalkeeper and onto the cross bar, satisfyingly crashing down over the line to give the U’s a shock 2-0 lead heading into half time.

Goal E

Kai Jennings vs Woking – 17th February

Sutton got off to a flying start against Woking as Kai Jennings combined with Brandon Njoku on the left, playing the striker in and then in position to collect his pull back, turn inside Jamie Andrews and lift the ball in to the net.

Goal F

Lewis Simper vs Wealdstone – 21st February

Lewis Simper added a touch of class to extend Sutton’s lead three minutes later after Hayden Muller had given the U’s the advantage against Wealdstone. A superb first touch brought Besart Topallaj’s cross-field pass under instant control on the right, and he then cut inside before placing a shot beyond Baptiste in to the far corner of the net.

Goal F

Rashaad Drysdale vs Eastleigh U18 – 25th February

Rashaad Drysdale scored a superb solo goal ten minutes in to the second half against Eastleigh U18, with the U’s impressive performance in the second period giving Eastleigh few opportunities to recover.

The forward picked the ball up on the right touchline and produced a fine solo run past a string of defenders before hammering a shot in to the net from about ten yards to put Sutton in front.

Goal G

Hayden Muller vs Yeovil Town – 25th February

Sutton responded well to going behind at Huish Park, and in added time, Jed Ward had to scramble away a Lewis Simper free kick at his near post, and from the resulting throw in the ball was worked to Besart Topallaj on the left and his fine cross was headed in powerfully by Hayden Muller for his second goal in as many games.

Goal H

Derrell Ashia vs Bromley U18 – 28th February

Derrell Ashia scored his first goal for Sutton as the U’s beat Bromley 4-0.

Having gone ahead through Ronny Ruiz, the U’s grabbed a second seven minutes after the restart. A flick from Ruiz on the edge of the box fell nicely to Ashia, who curled a low effort into the bottom left hand corner. It was his first goal in amber colours.

Goal I

Bobby Sheargold vs Bromley U18 – 28th February

Bobby Sheargold produced a moment of magic with just over ten minutes remaining, capping off what Glen Nichols regarded as “the most complete performance” that he has witnessed in his time at Sutton so far.

After receiving the ball from Geri Katana on the far side,  he struck an effort from the edge of the box which sailed into the top left corner for his eleventh goal of the season, making him the U’s leading scorer.

Goal J

Lewis Simper vs FC Halifax Town – 28th February

Lewis Simper added another fine goal to his impressive showreel as Sutton took the lead away at FC Halifax Town.

Jermaine Francis and Besart Topallaj combined on the left, Francis collecting the left back’s low cross and squaring it for Njoku, who was unable to work a shooting position but laid the ball back to Lewis Simper, whose pass out to Francis had set the move in motion and who now drilled a left foot shot high in to the net.
