Hospitality: Jimmy Dack To Attend Gateshead Match

We are delighted to announce that Jimmy Dack will be joining us in pre-match hospitality ahead of the clash with Gateshead (Saturday, 29th November; 3pm KO).

A hugely popular former Sutton player and manager, Jimmy made 271 appearances for the club in two spells, scoring 36 goals, and was a member of the Isthmian League championship side of 1999. He briefly managed the U’s at the end of the 2007/08 season and subsequently had several seasons as Justin Edinburgh’s assistant at Newport County, helping them to regain their Football League place in 2014, as well as briefly stepping up to the manager’s role a year later.

He later took on the role of chief scout at Wigan Athletic, before returning to Sutton in 2023 as Academy Manager with a proven track record in recruiting excellent young players and developing them for life in professional football.

Dack has since brought a wealth of experience to the Academy as the Club have built on its excellent reputation, with his appointment helping to further boost the upward trajectory of its development, which is one of the Club’s key strategic aims.
