Robyn Jones will return to Gander Green Lane as the club’s special guest on Saturday, making an appearance in hospitality at the U’s match against Scunthorpe United.
Jones will also take part in an exclusive interview, which will be available to watch in hospitality only.
The Welsh former footballer played for Sutton United during the 1988/89 season, and was notably a part of the team that achieved a historic and significant FA Cup victory over Coventry City in January 1989, starting in defence alongside captain Tony Rains, Nigel Golley and Vernon Pratt, and played the entire 90 minutes as Barrie Williams’ side achieved one of the all time great FA Cup upsets, courtesy of goals from Rains and Matthew Hanlan.
