Jay Coombes has been selected by Gibraltar for the upcoming Euro Under-21 Qualifiers.
Los Llanis are set to kick-start their qualifying campaign with games against Bulgaria and Czech Republic, with Coombes to join up with the squad ahead of the two games, which takes place on Friday, 5th September and Tuesday, 9th September.
Gibraltar have been drawn in Group B alongside Portugal, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Scotland and Azerbaijan and will be looking to qualify for the finals for the first time, with the tournament to take place in 2027 in Albania and Serbia.
The defender is the only overseas player to be selected by Gibraltar alongside Repton’s Amos Federico.
Good luck, Jay!
