Charlie Bell has been named in the starting XI for the first time in the league this evening against Woking.
The academy midfielder embarks on his senior league debut for the U’s alongside Lewis Simper and Jack Wadham in midfield, and is one of five changes from Saturday’s defeat against Brackley Town.
Junior Eccleston returns to the XI on the right of a back four that includes Jack Taylor, Edon Pruti and Liam Vincen, with Harry Phipps dropping out due to injury.
David Ogbonna joins Eccleston on the right flank in place of Dillon De Silva with Aaron Jones taking up the position on the opposite wing, while Bell replaces Jayden Harris in midfield.
Ashley Nadesan is another returnee to the XI, leading the line in place of Noa Boutin.
