Stay on the M3 for about 55 miles and then exit at Junction 13 toward Eastleigh and Southampton Airport, turning right into Leigh Road.
Continue to crossroads and turn right at traffic lights into Passfield Avenue. Drive past Fleming Park sports centre on your right and continue to the end of Passfield Avenue. At the end of the road take the second exit and at the next roundabout take the first exit into Stoneham Lane. Continue down Stoneham Lane, taking the first exit on two roundabouts then on the third roundabout take the first exit, then take your next left and you will find the Silverlake Stadium 100 yards on the left-hand side and the Lower Hardmoor car park entry further down the road on your next left.
Car parking is available at the Silverlake Stadium and Lower Hardmoor sites on a matchday.
Matchday parking at the stadium is only available to supporters who have purchased a seasonal car parking pass, or to supporters who are in receipt of a blue badge.
If you are in receipt of a blue badge, you should contact the club in advance of the matchday so you can be added to the car park list. You will need to show your Blue Badge upon arrival at the car park, and a steward will direct you to a space.
Please note that the car park will be closed for around 10 minutes after the full-time whistle to enable pedestrians to safely leave the ground. All drivers are asked to turn left leaving the car park once it has reopened.
Parking spaces are available at £10 per space and supporters can purchase by card or cash on the day on a first come, first served basis.
After the match the car park will be closed for 10 minutes after the fixture for supporters on foot to leave the car park. In order to avoid undue congestion, all cars are to turn left when exiting the car parks.
By Rail
The nearest train station is Southampton Airport Parkway which is a 25 minute walk from the ground via the Lakeside Country Park.
Trains 21 minutes past the hour go directly from Clapham Junction, but should you take a train 42 minutes past the hour, this will require an additional change at Basingstoke. Take a Southern service from Sutton which goes directly to Clapham Junction, or on the Thameslink via Wimbledon. From there, take a South Western Railway service towards Weymouth or Exeter St Davids, the latter alighting at Basingstoke for the additional change. In total, the journey should take up to two hours.

Accessibility
All accessible entrances will be open as detailed in the stadium map below:
Away fans will be situated in the all-seated South Stand (474 capacity), via Blocks S1 and S2. There is an outdoor away bar and toilets through the away turnstiles 1-4.
All turnstiles open at 6:15pm – the away supporter bar is located inside the away turnstiles.
Emergency procedures and important announcements will be notified to spectators over the public address system. Please listen carefully to the announcements and be ready to respond in a calm and controlled manner.
Stewards and/or Police Officers will assist by directing spectators to the nearest safe exit where necessary – please remain calm and keep gangways exits clear.
The current legislation is very clear, persistent standing in seated areas is a breach of the ground regulations which are required under the safety certificate that allows the club to operate at the Silverlake Stadium.
- Nobody may stand in any area whilst play is in progress.
- Persistent standing in seated areas whilst play is in progress is strictly forbidden and may result in ejection from the ground.
- Eastleigh FC remind fans it is a criminal offence to throw any object towards the pitch or spectator areas.
- This could cause serious injury and could also lead to disciplinary action taken against the club.
- Please observe the ground regulations and comply with stewarding team’s requests.
- We all have a duty to keep the Silverlake Stadium operating within the legal requirements.
- We will not tolerate this sort of behaviour and have no hesitation in banning any supporters found guilty of this.
- The club will liaise with Hampshire Police to proceed with a football banning order when it is appropriate to do so.
- The use of smoke canisters or flares at home or away fixtures will result in a 3-5 year ban from the Silverlake Stadium and the application for a football banning order.
- The use of foul and abusive language (including racial abuse) is in breach of ground regulations.
- Eastleigh FC will issue a club banning order (CBO) when deemed appropriate, and Hampshire Police will be advised of any CBO issued and provided with any supporting evidence.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the stadium in the stands and within covered sections (this includes electronic cigarettes)
- Smoking is still allowed in outside uncovered areas of the stadium
Under the sporting events (control of alcohol etc) Act of 1985, the following are offences for which a person can be arrested by a police officer and conviction could result in a banning order being made:
- Attempting to enter the ground or being inside the ground whilst drunk
- Being in possession of any intoxicating liquor, bottle, can or other portable container that could cause damage or personal injury when entering the ground or in a public area of the ground which the event can be directly viewed.
Wheelchair & Ambulant Disabled
Eastleigh currently have an accessible viewing platform that fits three wheelchairs and three personal assistants which can be seated either next to, or behind the wheelchair user. This depends on the number of wheelchair users using the platform on a match-by-match basis.
There are 11 step free seats at ground level solely for away fans which can be increased or decreased depending on the anticipated number of traveling supporters.
They would offer the step free seats to supporters who are unable to manage stairs or personal assistants attending with wheelchair users. Wheelchair spaces are available on ground level behind the perimeter fence surrounding the pitch.
Our hosts very much understand that being prepared and having an understanding of facilities available ahead of matchday can help you prepare ahead of your visit. We have recently invested in some ear defenders that are available to use. Please speak to a steward or come into the club shop before entering the stadium to enquire.
There is a toilet in the away end which is accessible for ambulant disabled fans but it is not wide enough to accomodate a wheelchair. Wheelchair users will need to speak to a steward in order to use the wider accessible toilet at the other end of the Nuffield Health Stand past the home fans. There are also fully accessible toilets in Sherwoods restaurant and in the Hangar bar for away supporters to use before turnstiles open.
Disabled supporters in receipt of higher rate DLA/PIP (mobility/care) are entitled to a free personal assistant ticket which can be obtained in person in the ticket office by presenting the DLA/PIP letter.

Last Time We Met
Sutton picked up a second Enterprise National League win of the season, and moved off the bottom of the table, producing a fine first half performance to go in at the interval two up, and surviving a much less comfortable second half which saw Eastleigh pull a goal back from a penalty twenty minutes from time, but not able to find the equaliser that threatened. U’s could have made life easier for themselves had they taken several chances towards the end as Eastleigh looked for the goal that would have given them a point, but in the end U’s were able to celebrate a third consecutive league and cup win.

Played for Both
Jake Taylor
Jake Taylor joined Sutton in November 2025 from Eastleigh, becoming Chris Agutter’s third signing in charge of the U’s on the eve of an Enterprise National League clash with the Spitfires.
The 33-year old began his career at the Madejski Stadium, joining the Royals at the age of eight and going on to spend ten years in their youth system. After scoring 20 goals for the Under-18’s in the 2009/10 campaign, he was rewarded with senior debut in a League Cup game against Northampton Town, and was followed by his league debut at the end of the same season.
He subsequently spent seven further years in Berkshire, being at the club during their promotion-winning campaign in 2011/12 and their resulting season in the Premier League, though he largely spent this period out on loan with stints at Aldershot Town, Exeter City, Cheltenham Town and Crawley Town.
He later enjoyed further loans away at Leyton Orient and Motherwell two years later, and brought a permanent end to his time at Reading when he opted to return to Exeter in 2016.
This led to a hugely successful spell in Devon, spending the next five years with the Grecians in which he appeared over 200 times, as well as captaining the club between 2018 and his departure in 2021, which saw him join fellow League Two club Stevenage.
A brief stint playing under Agutter during the Head Coach’s temporary charge of the Boro’s first team led to Taylor being a regular fixture in the heart of the team during his first season in Hertfordshire, as well as in their promotion-winning season in 2022/23, adding to his 43 appearances during the previous campaign, before being released upon their first year in League One in nearly ten years.
A move to Eastleigh followed for the midfielder, who opted to drop into non-league as his approached his twilight years, and he was named the Spitfires’ club captain following the retirement of Aaron Martin, a mark of the trust instilled in him from Head Coach Kelvin Davis after just a year in Hampshire, with Taylor going on to rack up almost 100 appearances for the club.
He subsequently opted to depart midway through the 2025/26 campaign though, and has gone to be a regular in the centre of the park for Sutton.
