The BT executives who chose tomorrow’s Vanarama National League game to be broadcast live will be feeling satisfied with their choice following the last week’s action as it pits two in-form sides against each other. Sutton are unbeaten in the last six league games, and go in to tomorrow’s meeting on the back of fine wins against Wrexham and Woking, while Yeovil’s unbeaten run is seven in the league, and they added to Torquay’s recent misery with a 6-2 thrashing of the Devon side at Huish Park yesterday.

With Barrow held to a home draw by AFC Fylde, that result moved Yeovil level on points with the Cumbrians, who have played two games fewer, and avoiding defeat at lunchtime tomorrow will put Yeovil top, at least until Hartlepool take the field at Barrow later in the afternoon, while a home victory would put U’s in to the top half of the table, again at least until the afternoon games take place.

Not only are the two sides in form but two of the league’s most in-form strikers will also be in competition, with Omar Bugiel and Yeovil’s Courtney Duffus both having scored five goals in the last two games.

A reminder that the game kicks off at 12.30, and segregation will be in force, with Yeovil supporters housed in the Collingwood end. With part of the car park reserved for BT vehicles, there will be less parking available tomorrow and we would urge anyone that can come to the game by public transport to do so – Thameslink are running a normal Saturday service through West Sutton tomorrow.

Amber 500 tickets will again be on sale at the club office tomorrow, with the draw for the cash prizes taking place on New Year’s Day at the Woking game.
