Kwaku Donkor has come in for his first league start since making the move from Tamworth, joining the backline for Sutton’s clash with Braintree Town tonight as Chris Agutter has opted for a reshuffle following last week’s defeat at Boston United.
The Ghanian takes his place on the right flank, replacing David Ogbonna who drops to the bench, and is one of two changes to the side that prepare for a crucial relegation six-pointer.
Kai Jennings joins Ogbonna on the bench with Charlie Bell filling the void in midfield alongside Jake Taylor and is flanked by Donkor and Besart Topallaj, who has moved into a more advanced position to the centre back role he has played since arriving from Hartlepool United. Junior Eccleston drops into the right side of the back three to make way for Donkor on the wing, with the backline being rounded out by Edon Pruti, who captains the side, and Hayden Muller, while Jack Sims maintains his place between the sticks against his former side.
In attack, Lewis Simper and Jermaine Francis retain their positions behind Ashley Nadesan, with Agutter opting against changing his frontline.
