Sutton continue their FA Cup campaign on Saturday with a second Second Round tie in a week, taking on League Two outfit Shrewsbury Town in a televised tie that will decide whether or not the U’s reach the Third Round for the first time since 2023/24.
Chris Agutter’s side have so far enjoyed success in the competition, securing their passage out the qualification rounds with victory over Farnham Town at the second time of asking, having forced a replay late on against the Isthmian League side, before overcoming National League North outfit AFC Telford United in the previous stage.
As a result, Sutton were drawn against fellow Shropshire-based side Shrewsbury Town, who visit Gander Green Lane looking to avoid an upset, with the U’s coming into it off the back of an unbeaten run which was extended to nine games after Tuesday night’s win over AFC Croydon Athletic in the Surrey Senior Cup.
While it is expected to be a packed house come the weekend tickets are still available to purchase, and can be done via our ticketing site.
