Sutton’s Emirates FA Cup Second Round tie with Shrewsbury Town has been selected for live coverage on BBC Two, iPlayer and TNT Sports 2.
The U’s were drawn to face the Shrews for the first time in Monday night’s Second Round draw, having reached this stage of the competition after a 2-1 win over AFC Telford United, courtesy of goals from David Ogbonna and Ashley Nadesan.
As a result, the date of the clash has been confirmed, and will take place on Saturday, 6th December (5:15pm KO), with ticket information to be announced shortly.
Furthermore, Sutton’s participation in the FA Cup Second Round means their home clash with York City in the Enterprise National League has been postponed, with a new date likely to take place in January. This will be confirmed in due course.
Eight of the 20 matches will be televised live by TNT Sports, with BBC Sport also making two of these available to watch, and 12 games are going to take place at 15:00 GMT on Saturday 6 December.

These clubs will receive a payment for either winning or losing their tie, and those involved in a live television broadcast fixture will receive an additional £60,000 fee.
