Sutton United Football Club is thrilled to announce a new partnership with AFL Europe, creating a cross-sport collaboration that will bring together association football and Australian Rules Football in London and The United Kingdom. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to promoting sport, community engagement, corporate engagement  and opportunities for fans of all ages to experience something new and get involved in both grassroots games.

To mark the occasion, the partnership was officially unveiled at AFL Europe’s Grand Final Lunch, with representatives from both organisations in attendance. The collaboration aims to foster cultural exchange between the two sports, with joint initiatives designed to inspire local communities, sporting fans and corporate partners.

“We’re delighted to partner with AFL Europe,” said Jack Daly, Director of Business Operations at Sutton United.

“This partnership is an exciting opportunity to celebrate sporting diversity and bring our communities together.

By working with AFL Europe, we hope to create memorable experiences for our fans and showcase the shared values of both sports.”

Josh Philpot, Chairman of AFL Europe, added:

“This partnership gives both organisations the opportunity to amplify our engagement with our respective communities, and partners.

AFL Europe is committed to growing the game of AFL across the UK and Europe, and we need to foster great relationships with like-minded businesses, communities and people.

The strategy that Sutton United has to become the club of choice for Australians that live abroad, and their desire to think, and act differently, is exactly the type of partner we are looking to grow with”

Sutton United and AFL Europe are committed to using this partnership to engage fans, promote participation, and celebrate the passion and excitement that both sports bring to the local community.
