Sutton United Football Club can confirm that Goalkeeping Coach Andy Little has departed the club to join Eastbourne Borough.

The 50-year old will reunite with former U’s boss Matt Gray, who has been recently been appointed as manager of Eastbourne.

Little, who turned out for Sutton as a player alongside spells at Crawley Town, AFC Wimbledon, Croydon Athletic and Woking, played over 700 games in goal during his career and after hanging up his boots in 2015, he returned to Wimbledon as an Academy Goalkeeping Coordinator and later took on coaching roles at former clubs Woking and Crawley, as well as Ebbsfleet United and Bromley, either side of a stint as Assistant Manager at Whitehawk.

This preceded a return to newly promoted Sutton in 2021, moving into the EFL to work alongside Gray for two-and-a-half seasons, where he enjoyed two mid-table finishes, before relegation saw him spend a year in the National League.

Little will now move to Sussex to join Borough, who finished the 2024/25 season third in the National League South, and will be looking to help them bounce back from defeat in the play-offs as they mount another promotion attempt next term.

We would like to thank Andy for his service and wish him all the best for the future.
