Sutton United Football Club can confirm that Tyler French has joined Solihull Moors on a permanent deal.
The defender makes the switch to the fellow National League side who finished the 2024/25 campaign two places and two points below the U’s, ending the season under former Wealdstone boss Matthew Taylor in 14th.
French had joined the club from Scottish Championship outfit Dundee last summer and enjoyed a largely successful campaign with the U’s, having been named as Craig Eastmond’s successor as club captain.
An ever present at both centre back and right back, French missed just five league games throughout the entire season and played nearly every minute as the U’s ended the campaign in 12th. In total, the 25-year old racked up 45 appearances in all competitions, before agreeing a new deal in February.
We would like to thank Tyler for his efforts last season and wish him all the best for the future.
