Sutton United Football Club is delighted to announce the permanent signing of Jaiden White following his departure from National League North side Hereford.
The dynamic and explosive winger will add plenty of threat and firepower to Steve Morison’s frontline, with the U’s securing a real coup in bringing one of the most exciting forwards in all of non-league to Gander Green Lane.
Born in Wolverhampton, White came through the ranks with local side Wolverhampton Wanderers and later came through the ranks in the academy of fellow EFL side Coventry City, before making the switch to Kidderminster Harriers in 2018. Continuing his development at Aggborough, he eventually rose into the first team and made his senior breakthrough towards the turn of the year, appearing on the bench three times in a row before making his debut for the club as a late substitute away at Spennymoor Town, and ended the campaign with four appearances to his name.
He later joined Stafford Rangers on loan and gained experience in the Northern Premier League, although his spell was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic curtailing the season. Despite this, White continued to develop at an impressive rate, and come the 2021/22 season, had made 35 appearances for Harriers in all competitions.
However, he opted to return to Stafford on a permanent deal the following summer, and remained at Step 3 with further spells at Stourbridge and Redditch United.
White’s impressive form saw him return to the National League North in midway through the 2024/25 campaign though, joining Hereford in November, and he ended the season with a superb tally of nine goals and four assists in 29 appearances, becoming an ever-present in the Bulls team and a key part of the side that finished tenth in the sixth tier.
After just seven months at Edgar Street, White makes the jump up to the National League with a move to Sutton, to which he said:
“The ambition of the club attracted me – a former Football League club – and it’s what I’m hoping to get them back into”
“I want to showcase my ability and my talent and get the club back where they belong”
Welcome to Sutton, Jaiden!
