Sutton United Football Club can confirm the departure of Henry Sandat, who makes his loan move to Hornchurch permanent.

The striker permanently joins an Urchins side who are flying high in the National League South, topping the sixth tier after enjoying an impressive 16-game unbeaten run that only came to an end in their last outing, with Chelmsford City condemning Daryl McMahon’s side to a first defeat since April.

Sandat had originally made the switch to East London in August, joining on an initial one-month loan deal which was later extended, and has so far appeared five times for the Urchins.

Prior to this, he had featured just once for Sutton in the National League Cup defeat against Fulham, adding to 11 league appearances last term including two starts.

The 20-year old from Southend-on-Sea had previously started out at local club Southend United where he learned his trade, before making the move to Hull City and later a loan switch to Wealdstone, before moving to Sutton in January.

We would like to wish Henry all the best for the future.
