Sutton United Football Club is delighted to confirm the signings of Sophie Sunmer, Ines Jame and Tess Ciccardin for the Women’s team.
The three new recruits become the 12th, 13th and 14th signings of the summer for Lucy Clark’s side, and go straight into the side for Sunday’s clash with Brentford.
Sophie Sunmer joins from Ascot United, while Jame was with Sutton as a youngster, re-signing for the 2025/26 campaign after moving to Beecholme Belles last season, and both will bolster the U’s midfield this term.
Ciccardin meanwhile is an agile 17-year old forward who joins from Haywards Heath Town where she notably won the Sussex County U18s Cup, contributing to 28 goals (23 goals and 5 assists) in 2023/24.
Formerly of Caterham Pumas, MFA and Crawley Wasps, Ciccardin is a player known for her intelligence and speed, and joins a frontline rife with quality in South London.
Welcome to Sutton, all!
