Dillon De Silva

Dillon De Silva became the first signing of the summer ahead of the 2024/25 season, making the move from Wealdstone in May 2024.
A product of the Queens Park Rangers academy, De Silva initially spent time as a schoolboy at Tottenham Hotspur before making the move to Loftus Road in 2017 following a brief stint with Barking.
He went on to spend five years in West London and gained experience on loan at Torquay United, where he scored three goals in 19 games in his first stint in Devon before making the move permanent in 2023, and made a further 20 appearances for the now-National League South side before being departing in February 2024.
This was followed by a brief spell at Wealdstone, moving back to London for the end of the 2023/24 season where he went on to turn out eight times for the Stones, scoring twice, before finding himself on the move again the following summer.
A move across London saw him make the switch to Sutton, and he quickly impressed with his flair and trickery on the ball across 39 appearances in all competitions in his debut season.
Furthermore, Dillon has Sri Lankan heritage and represents the Golden Army internationally with 19 caps to his name. He was first selected in May 2021 for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lebanon and South Korea and made his debut as a substitute against the former.
He later scored his first goal in a 3-2 defeat to Nepal in the 2021 SAFF Championship, before adding his second international goal in a 2-0 win over Bhutan five months later. Most recently, Dillon scored in a 3-1 win over Chinese Taipei as Sri Lanka secured their first win of their AFC Asia Cup qualifying campaign, which takes place in 2027 in Saudi Arabia.
