Kane Crichlow

Kane Crichlow joined Sutton in May 2025 from Chelmsford City.
Born in Warwick, Bermuda, the attacking midfielder began his career in Spain with UE Cornellà, but came to England at the age of 17 to join AFC Wimbledon following a successful trial. He went on to spend a year with the Under-18’s before making the switch to Premier League side Watford, and spent three years at Vicarage Road where he became an ever-present in the club’s youth side under the likes of Hayden Mullins and Omar Riza.
Crichlow went on to make a sole appearance for the first team, making his debut as a substitute in an EFL Cup defeat against Newport County, before departing the club following the Hornets’ relegation from the top flight.
He subsequently made the move to Greece where he featured for Super League 2 side Episkopi, before returning to England after a little over a year across Europe. Crichlow would drop into non-league in search of regular opportunities, returning to Hertfordshire when he joined Bishop’s Stortford, and notably scored an injury time equaliser to force penalties in an FA Trophy Third Round tie against Ebbsfleet United, before netting his spot-kick in the ensuing shootout as the Blues overcame their higher ranked counterparts. This was then followed by perhaps his shining light in his career so far, scoring five goals in a single game against Aldershot Town in the following round.
Following his departure from Bishop’s Stortford, Crichlow moved across Essex when a successful trial with Chelmsford led to him moving to the Clarets permanently. He subsequently became a key part of the team that finished 11th in the National League South, and ended the season as the club’s joint-top scorer with 13 goals alongside Charlie Ruff.
Meanwhile, on the international stage, Crichlow has represented Bermuda at Under-15, Under-17 and Under-20 levels, before being called up by Bermuda’s senior squad for their CONCACAF Group B qualifiers against Canada and Aruba in March 2021. He went on to make his senior international his debut in a World Cup qualifier against Canada and scored his team’s only goal in a 5–1 defeat against the Canucks. He has since gone on to receive 22 caps for Bermuda, scoring 11 goals.
