Kwaku Donkor

Kwaku Donkor joined Sutton on a permanent deal from Tamworth in January 2026.

A product of the Blackpool academy, he first linked with the Tangerines from the Onside Football Academy and signed a two-year scholarship at Blackpool in the summer of 2021, having made the move from London the year before.

He made his first-team debut in September 2023 in an EFL Trophy group game against Barrow before embarking on his first senior loan, joining Havant and Waterlooville on loan for the second half of the 2023/24 season after making three substitute appearances for Pool in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy earlier on in the season.

Donkor was later loaned out to National League South side Welling United ahead of the 2024/25 season, and then to Mickleover after spending the first half of the campaign with the Wings, prior to making a permanent switch to Tamworth after spending five years at Bloomfield Road.

He went on to appear 21 times for the Lambs this term, playing a key part in Andy Peaks’ side maintaining their remarkable rise up non-league to sit 13th in the division, before returning to London with his move to Sutton.
