Manny Osadebe
Manny Osadebe joined Sutton in June 2026, following his release from Barnet.
Born in Nigeria and raised in Dundalk, Ireland, Osadebe began his career in the youth ranks of his local side before being spotted by Tottenham Hotspur, spending a year in the Foundation College Programme before moving to Gillingham in May 2015.
A Gill for two years, the midfielder impressed on his debut with a Man of the Match display against Sheffield United and was invited to train with the Republic of Ireland’s Under-21s, as well as winning the club’s Goal of the Season award with a superb solo effort against Bury.
He made 42 appearances for the club in total before joining Cambridge United, spending a period out on loan at Newport County, before making a permanent switch away from the Abbey Stadium in 2019.
Osadebe opted to join a financially stricken Macclesfield Town, who were forced to part ways with the midfielder after just half-a-season with the Silkmen, taking him to Walsall, a place where he made 91 appearances across a stellar two years, as well as scoring eight goals.
Having become a pivotal figure in the centre of the park for the Saddlers, he then went on to make it more than 200 Football League appearances with spells at Bradford City, Forest Green Rovers and Barnet, either side of a brief stint in the National League due to the Green’s relegation in 2024.
He appeared 41 times as Steve Cotterill’s side reached the play-off semi-final, before earning a move back into the fourth tier with Dean Brennan’s newly promoted Bees, where he featured just nine times before being released earlier this month.
