Phoebe Langley

Phoebe Langley made the switch to Sutton in July 2025 from Woking, a club she joined when she turned 16 in December 2024
Hailing from Horsell, Langley established herself as something of a prodigy during primary school and began her career when she trained with the boys team at Chobham due to her brother, and went on to join the club’s Under-7’s – a year ahead of her age group. She was later invited to train with the Woking District girls’ team when she was in Year 3, going on to play 77 times for the district, before joining Goldsworth Park Rangers and then Knaphill, prior to getting a place at Chelsea’s Foundation where she trained at the Premier League club’s base in Cobham.
Langley continued to develop at an impressive rate during her time with the Blues, and was invited to a trial with Reading’s regional talent club where she trained weekly until the COVID-19 lockdown, and upon the resumption of football at every level, won a place in the Royals’ Women’s Under 12’s-side.
She subsequently went on to captain of Surrey’s representative team, a position she has maintained for the last four seasons, and returned to Woking at the end of 2024.
