Tommy Reid

Tommy Reid becomes the first signing of the Chris Agutter era with a loan move from Charlton Athletic in October 2025.

The Hastings-born stopper, who has been capped by England at youth level, spent 11 years at Brighton & Hove Albion after joining the Seagulls aged eight.

He gained valuable first-team experience during his time on the south coast during non-League loan spells with Burgess Hill Town, Worthing and AFC Totton, before making the switch to Charlton.

Reid joined the Addicks’ academy ranks in September 2024 following a successful trial period, keeping three clean sheets in five appearances for Chris Lock’s Under-21s as they kickstarted their 2024/25 season with an impressive unbeaten run.

His impressive form saw him rewarded with the a new contract until 2026 in January 2025.
