Sutton United Football Club will close out pre-season with a trip to National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough.
The match will take place on Saturday, 2nd August at the Beveree Stadium.
The Beavers, who are headed up by former Sutton goalkeeper Alan Julian, last hosted the U’s in a competitive league fixture back in 2012 when the two sides met for a goalless draw in the Conference South. Sutton did also visit Richmond-upon-Thames for a pre-season friendly in 2020, with Harry Beautyman’s early goal being cancelled out by a Ryan Hill strike 20 minutes later, and meant it ended 1-1.
The match will also see Jack Taylor return to his former club, having spent the first half of last season on loan at Hampton & Richmond for an incredibly fruitful spell that kick-started his rise into Sutton’s first team later on in the campaign.
A kick-off time, along with ticket information for this summer’s fixture, will be announced in due course.
