Two stoppage time goals turned what looked to be a third consecutive National League win for Sutton in to a hugely disappointing defeat. Sutton deservedly led 2-1 as the game passed the ninety minute mark, but James Daly converted a fine Ryan Jones cross at the far post for his second goal to equalise in the third extra minute, and Brett McGavin then thundered home a penalty four minutes later after Edon Pruti had fouled Tahvon Campbell. Daly’s first goal had also come from a penalty, Jack Sims saving Luke McCormick’s spot kick after Kwaku Donkor had brought down Terrell Works, but Hayden Muller’s second goal in as many games, a firm header from a Besart Topallaj cross, levelled in first half stoppage time and Kai Jennings put U’s ahead from a Lewis Simper cross midway through the second half.
