Our women’s team held their Player Of the Season awards yesterday, with defender Ella Meehan (above, with manager Lucy Clark) picking up the trophy for the Supporters’ Player of the Year, as well as the Goal of the Season award for her long range free kick against Actonians. Emma Spear received the Manager’s Player of the Season award while Sophie Modak was Clubperson of the Year, Millie Cutler picked up the Players’ Player of the Year along with the trophy for leading scorer and goalkeeper Megan Taylor was Young Player of the Year.
For the development team, Emily Skazlic (above with manager Ian Bowerman) was awarded the Manager’s Player of the Season whilst Hanna Hevesy received the Players’ Player of the Season and the trophy for leading scorer went to Tess Ciccardini.
