Jermaine Francis will be unavailable for Sutton’s trip to Eastleigh (Tuesday, 24th March; 7:45pm KO) due to international duty, with the midfielder being selected for Grenada’s upcoming friendly against Rwanda.

Francis has been an ever-present in the Sutton side since arriving from Hartlepool United in January, with his consistency and energy on the flank seeing him swiftly embraced by the U’s faithful.

He will now head to East Africa for a FIFA Series clash at Stade Amahoro, and will miss the games against Eastleigh and Rochdale as a result.

Jake Taylor could return to action though, and with a potential start against his former club after recovering from a hamstring problem.

The experienced midfielder arrived at Gander Green Lane from the Spitfires back in November, on the eve of the U’s 2-1 win over the Hampshire-side, with that game being too soon for his Sutton debut, and means he is yet to reunite with his former teammates.

He could feature for the first time since departing the Silverlake Stadium – at his old stomping ground – having missed Saturday’s game against Truro City with an injury sustained the previous week at Gateshead.
