Steve Morison will have the same batch of players available to him for the trip to Forest Green Rovers tomorrow, with a near fully fit squad to choose from heading into the U’s third league game of the season.
The Head Coach stressed the importance of utilising his whole squad, with the visit to Nailsworth being the fourth game in all competitions already, and will be followed by another two in the coming week as well with a home clash with Scunthorpe United (Saturday 23rd) preceding a trip to Rochdale just two days later on Bank Holiday Monday (Monday 25th).
“We’re all good, all good” the Head Coach said, “it must be the longest time we’re going to get to train over the next five or six days so yeah, it’s a tough little period, it’s probably Wednesday, Saturday, Monday.”
“It’s a tough little period but we’ve got a squad, we’ll use everyone and yeah we’re just looking for good performances and maybe results will come along with it.”
The only player who is yet to feature for Sutton so far is Mo Dabre, who continues to recover from a knock sustained in pre-season, but the Italian midfielder has trained in the build-up to the trip to The New Lawn and is edging closer to making his U’s debut, having signed from Tonbridge Angels during the summer.
David Aziaya also continues to recover from a knock picked up last week which caused him to miss Saturday’s goalless draw with Solihull Moors.
