Steve Morison has provided a squad update ahead of Sutton’s first away match of 2025 at York City.

The U’s Head Coach claimed everyone has come through the Wealdstone match on Wednesday night ‘unscathed’, with no new injury updates to report.

“Yeah, everyone seems okay,” said Morison ahead of the trip to York. “We’ve got no one to add and no one to take away from the squad”.

Furthermore, new signings Alex Woodyard and Henry Sandat both got minutes in their legs with debuts on Wednesday as they look to build their fitness, having joined from Colchester United and Hull City respectively.

“New signings have come in and freshened up the squad to add a bit of competition,” Morison added. “We lost a couple with Chin [Okoli] going back [to Millwall] and Edwin [Agbaje] not ever recovering from the injury at Rochdale away; Rushy [Matt Rush] going as well, so it adds a few numbers and we have a good number to pick from at the minutes”.

As for those who have been absent of late, Jack Sims returned to the bench during the week against Wealdstone, having made positive progress following a suspected concession picked up on New Year’s Day.

Meanwhile, Siju Odelusi and Alex Kirk have returned to training, and could return to action within the next two weeks.

Steve Arnold and Jayden Harris both remain unavailable.
